INFINITE SERIES ARTS
Fine Arts - Stone Carving
Infinite Series Arts began as an effort to reconnect with the discipline of making. Through stone, I create tangible representations of mathematics and the quiet order of the world, giving form to ideas that exist at the intersection of precision, curiosity, and reflection. My mission is to connect the arts and sciences through stone, to honor the balance between structure and presence.
I work in stone because it carries memory, weight, and a voice of its own. Each block holds a history that unfolds slowly when met with attention and care. My practice is a dialogue between presence and absence, intention and discovery. Every cut and hollow shapes what remains as much as what is removed. Negative space is alive with meaning, revealing the unseen architecture that holds each piece together.
My path began in industry. I worked as a machinist, learning patience, precision, and respect for material. Engineering taught me to see form before it existed and to solve problems in three dimensions. Leadership followed, teaching me how to guide people, ideas, and projects with intention and process. These stages layered discipline, observation, and thought in ways that now inform how I approach art.
In 2017 a retired stonemason opened a door I had not known existed, and a professor encouraged me to explore creative expression beyond technical life. Stone carving became the bridge between the skills I had developed and the language I now speak with my hands. Precision and reflection, structure and intuition, control and surrender all meet in the studio each day.

I am inspired by nature, philosophy, and geometry. Masters from Da Vinci to Mucha have shown that technical skill can carry emotion and meaning and that structure can inspire wonder.
Currently I explore the balance between surface and depth, tethering attention drawing beauty with the complexity of thought beneath. I also share this craft, teaching patience and discipline while nurturing a tradition that bridges generations
I hope those who encounter my work experience not only its presence and beauty but also the quiet order, reflective space, and the unseen structure embedded in every piece
